Showing aromas of wild blackberries, with a bit of leather. Active yet tamed tannins, rustic and structures in the mouth. Correct acidity and, as it’s common with the wines of this vintner, highly gastronomic.

Colheita (método): 5 and 6 of September 2017. Hand-harvest by experienced pickers who are familiar with the vineyard’s selection criteria; the grapes were selected directly from the vines into 15kg boxes.

Vinificação: The grapes were de-stemmed into open vats. Barefoot treading occurred one time a day. Fermented for 8 days at between 18⁰C and 26⁰C fermentation temperature. With no addition of oenological products other than small quantities of dioxide sulphate for conservation purposes.

Envelhecimento: Aged for 18 months in oak of 14 hectoliters and 24 hectoliters.
