One of the great reds of Portugal! Total Atlantic personality. Showing complexity on the nose, as well as on the palate. Truly impressive finish. Reading about it does not make justice to this wine, so you should rather serve it with roast beef.

Colheita: 22 of September 2013. Hand-harvest by experienced pickers who are familiar with the vineyard’s selection criteria; the grapes were selected directly from the vines into 15 kg boxes

Vinificação: The grapes were de-stemmed into open vats. Barefoot treading occurred one time a day. Fermented for 12 days at between 18⁰C and 28⁰C fermentation temperature. With no addition of oenological products other than small quantities of dioxide sulfate for conservation purposes.

Envelhecimento: Aged for 24 months in seasoned oak barrels of 600 liters.
